"Feelings of worth can flourish only in an atmosphere where individual differences are appreciated, mistakes are tolerated, communication is open, and rules are flexible -- the kind of atmosphere that is found in a nurturing family." ~Virginia Satir

Luke's Birthday
This year Luke wanted a pretty low key birthday. So...we had a wii tennis tourni. We played in teams. Luke and I won the silver metal while our friends Laura and Jeff won Gold. Needless to say, they kicked our butts but it was fun because there were 8 other teams I believe. So we did alright. We had a Taco Bar loaded with yummy food that everyone brought. Thanks to all of you! As you can see there aren't whole lot of pictures but we were just having too much fun! Luke had a wonderful birthday! P.S. Never buying a traditional Mexican Cake again. It sure was pretty but not our cup of tea. Although Luke enjoyed it and that's all that matters. Atleast it went with the Cabo Game Nite Theme! Happy Birthday Honey!
Luke and I met while attending CSU Chico in California. After graduating college, we decided it was time to get married after a long engagement of 4.5 years. On November 27, 1999 we said our vows to each other and made it official. We have two handsome boys: Luke Samuel Evans was born December 14, 2003 and Kai Christian Evans was born on December 21, 2005 (he is my 30th bday present). Children change your life and in a good way. They open your eyes to a whole different world and make life so wonderful. Luke just turned 8 years old and Kai just turned 6 years old. Luke will be going into 4rd grade in August. Kai will be in 2nd. I am blessed to have such a wonderful family! Luke and I will be celebrating our 13 year Wedding Anniversary. Amazing how fast time goes by. This blog is a way to log what is going on in my life as far as my beautiful family and my fitness. Enjoy!
